The Griffin Area Resource Center, Inc. awarded Three-Year CARF Accreditation
Griffin, Georgia — December 8, 2022
— CARF International announced that the Griffin Area Resource Center, Inc. has been accredited for a period of three years for its Community Employment Services: Employment Support and Job Development, Community Integration, Employee Development Services, Organizational Employment Services, and Supported Living programs.
This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.
The Griffin Area Resource Center, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization with offices at 931 Hamilton Boulevard. It has been providing services in the Spalding County and surrounding area since 1955.
CARF is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of the persons served. Founded in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, and now known as CARF International, the accrediting body establishes consumer-focused standards to help organizations measure and improve the quality of their programs and services. The mission of the GARC is to empower adults with disabilities to achieve the highest level of personal independence and connection in their community and to strive to improve their quality of life.
Cost: $250 Team Enjoy a complete round of golf including cart, lunch mid round, gift bag and a post tournament raffle. Hole in One Challenge to win a new car sponsored by CRONIC of Griffin Closest to the pin prizes on every par 3!! Long Drive prizes for par 5’s & special par 4’s!! Mulligans:—$5 each up to 4 per player Red Bomb: Limit 1 per person—$5 Pro Shop Payouts for 1st, 2nd place teams as well as the last place team!! Raffle Tickets for various donated items/gifts will be 15 tickets for $10 or a HOT DEAL at 35 tickets for $20
Sponsorship Levels Hall of Fame Level—$1000—This gets your business a Prestigious LOGO Ball sponsorship w/ Sponsor Tent, Team of 4 + 4 signs placed on Long Drive/Closest to the Pin holes. Hole in One Level—$500—Sponsor Tent plus Team of 4 & 4 signs placed at our Long Drive/Closest to the Pin holes. Eagle Level—$300—Sponsor Tent plus 3 signs placed at our Long Drive/Closest to the Pin holes. Birdie Level—$200—Two signs placed on regular holes. Par Level—$125—One sign placed on a hole.
